IKEA Opening Celebration 17th November!

IKEA And the Westfield North Lakes Extensions Are Opening On The 17th November!

It's finally happening!!!  On the 17th of November The IKEA North Lakes store will be open!!  And having a massive celebration with heaps of activities!

Not only will IKEA be opening but all the extension work between IKEA and Westfield North Lakes will be opening as well.

The new section of Westfield's shopping centre at North Lakes will have 60 new stores including the much talked about K-Mart, as well as JB Hi-Fi and Rebel Sport.

A new multi-storey car parking facitility will be opening with about 4900 new car parks for the shopping centre. However paid parking will come into effect shortly before the 17th.  It's a ticketless system with no pay stations. Shoppers will be able to shop at the centre for 3hrs before being charged for extra time.  This is similar to Westfield Chermside and Westfield Carindale.
