Old Tulip Town Land Up For Sale

Old Tulip Town Land Up For Sale - What will it become?

In an article published on October the 12th we talked about maximum building heights and how things will be changing around K-Town with higher density living etc.  Well, it seems the first big opportunity for this to occur is on the cards!

The old Tulip Town site is up for sale. MBRC are the current owners and despite efforts from people like Belinda Norrie the MBRC are not willing keep even a strip of land for public use such as a park or some other public facility.  It was hoped that they might use the whole block of land for public facilities like a skate board bowl, or perhaps a new community centre with a new Kallangur Library.  But as said, this isn't going to happen.

Remember, that colour blue on the legend for the map means a max height of 21 metres, so, will it become a massive 7 storey unit complex?  Who knows, but we will bring any new information to you as it comes to hand!
