The Opening Of The Redclife Train Line Has Initiated Changes To The Caboolture and Sunshine Coast Train Lines
Yay, finally after 130 years the Redcliffe Peninsula line is finally here.
But did you know that the Caboolture and Sunshine Coast lines have now changed with this new line addition?
The Caboolture and Sunshine Coast train lines now run express from Petrie train station to Bowen Hills, only stopping at Northgate & Eagle Junction stations. With the previous stations between Petrie and Northgate now being looked after by the Redcliffe train line.
Additionally the new Redcliffe train line will also run express, but from Northgate to Bowen Hills, stopping only at Eagle Junction.
What does this mean for you?
For stations between Petrie & Northgate
If you are requiring to travel to Lawnton, Bray Park, Strathpine, Bald Hills, Carseldine, Zillmere, Geebung, Sunshine or Virginia, you need to transfer at the Petrie Train Station, to the Redcliffe/City Line.
For stations between Northgate & Bowen Hills
If you are requiring to travel to Nundah, Toombul, Wooloowin or Albion, you need to transfer at Northgate station, to the Shorncliffe/Cleveland Line or the new Inner North Train Line running from Northgate to Roma Street.
The new timetables can be found here, (affective Tuesday 4th October, 2016):
